The Savino Brothers are tucked away in the sleepy town of Pallanza around Lake Maggiore in Northern Italy. Their butchers store is a bustling place for the locals; no tourists here - as we stood and watched the brothers at work, farmers rolled in with fresh mushrooms picked from the hills to share their finds. We knew immediately that we had a shared passion for pure, simple, quality food.
The Savino Brothers work with a number of purveyors in the region, but also produce their own Breasola and Mocetta from the Piedmontese Cow's that graze in the mountains.
This producer is highly unique, small volume and maintains amazing quality by using traditional production techniques.
